Unique Advantage of Combining
with Juice
Juices not only help to make
the taste of SPARX more acceptable, but they also provide their
own set of complex nutrients that have their own health benefits.
Juices also contain constituents that are known to help make
minerals more absorbable. Thus, it is reasonable to postulate that
SPARX in juice should be a particularly beneficial
combination.
A special Sparx story and my
dream application:
Enhanced School
Performance
Dietary supplements have been
demonstrated thoroughly to be an effective treatment for
depression and violence disorders. I have had one experience with
Sparx helping with depression. When I first created it in my
kitchen to help my elderly mother, she told me it completely
eliminated her periodic depressions. More recently I also had a
very unusual result in terms of dramatically helping with school
performance.
The Story:
One of my customers had been
using a later version of Sparx, mixed into juice, to help with her
irritable bowel disorder. One morning, after making it up in
juice for herself, she decided to pour out a small glass for her
daughter, who was in second grade. She started to do this every
morning to help her daughter's general health. This resulted in
an unexpected, striking transformation. Her daughter had been
having considerable problems with her schoolwork and the school
was planning to hold her back a grade. However, after starting
the Sparx-in-juice her performance gradually improved
dramatically. She was not held back and continued with the
supplement. In the next grade the school approached the mother
and asked permission to place her daughter in the "Gateway
Program". That is the school's name for their accelerated program
for the best students. This came as a total surprise given her
past school performance problems. The only thing she could think
of that had been different was the addition of the supplement in
her diet. She continued to excel thereafter. Four years later
the mother called me again. She said she had another story. The
younger daughter had reached the second grade and was having
similar schoolwork problems. She had not started her earlier on
Sparx-in-juice because she thought she was too young. Faced with
a repeat of the problem the older sister had, she started her on
it. The results were the same. The second daughter then excelled
with her schoolwork.
These results, although
limited, made technical sense to me, and made me wonder how
broadly this could be applied. What if we applied it to an under
performing school or just an under performing class. Would this
result in such dramatic results? What an exciting possibility!
The cost would be almost trivial compared to any other cost of the
school system. In California, if a school greatly improves its
performance it can result in a significant increase in funding.
Several years ago I wrote a letter to Jerry Brown, mayor of
Oakland, CA, making such a suggestion. However I did not receive
a response. Recently I decided to revisit this possibility and
open it up to suggestions from others who might see an approach
that will allow for a broader test of the concept. If you would
like to respond, my email is presented on this web page but I will
repeat it again here:

Perhaps, together we can find a
way to test this.
